How to get to Buckeye Boys State

Buckeye Boys State and the campus of Miami University may be conveniently reached via several routes around the Oxford area.

As you near the entrance to Buckeye Boys State on the Miami University campus, Ohio State Highway Patrol Officers, Butler County Sheriff's deputies, Oxford City Police, and Miami University Police will be in place to direct vehicles in and out of the registration area in an expedient manner.

  1. From the north via I-75: Take I-75 South to I-70 West (exit 61). Follow I-70 West to State Route 127 South (exit 4). Take State Route 127 South to State Route 73 South.
  2. From the northeast via I-71: Take I-71 South to I-270 West/Dayton (exit 119). Follow I-270 West to I-270 South/Dayton. Follow I-270 South to I-70 West (exit 8). Follow I-70 West to State Route 127 South (exit 4). Follow State Route 127 South to State Route 73 West.
  3. From the northeast/southeast via I-77: Take I-77 from the northeast or southeast to I-70 West (exit 178). Follow I-70 West to State Route 127 South (exit 4). Follow State Route 127 South (exit 4) to State Route 73 West.
  4. From the southeast via State Route 32/50: Take State Route 32 West to I-275 South/North/Columbus. Follow I-275 North to State Route 127 North (exit 36). Follow State Route 127 North to State Route 73 West.
  5. From the southwest via I-71/I-75/I-74/I-275: Take route of choice to I-275 Exit 36/State Route 127 North. Take State Route 127 to State Route 73.
  6. From Central Ohio via I-70: Take I-70 West to State Route 127 South (exit 4). Follow State Route 127 South to State Route 73 West.

NOTE: A traffic plan and traffic personnel will be in place on the closing day of Boys State to help with a timely departure of Boys State delegates and their parents.
